There are several benches in Sennen Parish, many of which are dedicated in memory of individuals. The Parish Council has undertaken an audit of the condition of these and other street furniture to aid a proactive approach to the conservation and maintenance of those located on public land.

Repairs are undertaken as necessary, with an aim of restoring one bench per year. Recent repairs have been made to

  • Stonechair Lane bench (11)
  • Sunny Corner bus stop bench (13)
  • War Memorial bench (14)

Due to a lack of historic parish records, Sennen Parish Council does not have contact details for the families of those commemorated at many of the benches. Should repair or replacement be necessary the Parish Council would like to be able to inform the families of the loved ones of proposed works.

Contact us to provide information or contact details for the family of a person to whom a bench is dedicated within the Parish or to report a maintenance issue or damage to a bench (or any other street furniture).
