The Community
Sennen Parish has a strong and friendly community with several public buildings to host activities and events. The Parish is also fortunate to have wealth of committed and caring people who volunteer in many different ways to make the parish a special place to live.
The Parish Council recognises outstanding community spirit with its Citizen of the Year Award, which is now in its third year.
The Parish Council is always looking for ways to engage and work with the local community. The monthly council meetings are open to the public at Churchtown Hall and Councillors regularly man a table at the Farmers Market to chat with residents and visitors. The Council particularly encourages local residents and groups to attend the Annual Parish Meeting, for a chance to come together to share news.
