
Sennen Nature Action Group
Sennen Parish Council supports and facilitates Sennen Nature Action Group (SNAG) by:
- Facilitating the use of a meeting place
- Holding ‘ring fenced’ funds for SNAG activities
- Providing information and advice about projects and funding
- Providing a Councillor/s to act as direct liaison with the Parish Council
SNAG Schedule Spring -Summer 2025:
- Saturday February 22nd:
Cutting back and tidying the planting area at the eastern village entrance. - Saturday March 29th:
Planting out a load of pollinating plants in the new area at Mayon bus stop. - Saturday April 26th:
Weeding and planting cuttings along the A30 pavement hedge (get involved earlier by taking cuttings of Osteospurnum, Erigeron Glaucus, Anthemis Cupaniana and other low growing cover plants) - Saturday June 7th:
Weeding the parish flower beds at Mayon and Sunny Corner Bus stop verges - Saturday July 5th:
Working on the A30 pavement hedge
SNAG work days typically last for 2-3 hours and start at 10am. They are informal and friendly and a great way to meet new friends.
