The Sennen Parish Council VAS (vehicle activated sign) on the road near the Spar shop has been removed until their supporting pole can be stabalised. We will reinstate the sign which has helped to reduce speeding in Parish as soon as possible. Thank you to local residents who drew our attention to the problem.

February 2022 New Vehicle Activated Sign (VAS) to be installed
Sennen Parish Council has agreed to purchase a second Vehicle Activated Sign. This is a portable sign which will initially be situated on the existing pole opposite the Spar shop at Mayon, and will capture eastbound vehicle speeds coming from Sennen Churchtown.

Thank you to everyone for such a great turn out in the sunshine this morning. Around 25 volunteers, 3 hours and a huge amount of work, weeding, cutting, digging and shovelling. We broke the back of the hedge opposite school and think it looks pretty fine!
