The litter pick at Sennen Churchtown went ahead even though the weather was dreadful in the afternoon. Nine residents joined Councillors to help clear up the Churchtown area of the Parish on Saturday 22nd April which was a good turn out considering the conditions.
Thank you so much to all the people who turned out to make our beautiful Parish even more lovely.
Thank you also, to Clean Cornwall for providing equipment and disposing of the rubbish for us.
Approximately 12 bags were filled lots of plastic, glass bottles and dog poo bags. Various footpaths were covered: including A30 West and East, cycle path etc.
Always more rubbish hiding in the undergrowth than it looks!
